Roofing Trim Applications

Metal reroofing trim conceals old roofing, ensures a neat straight edge, and gives a professional appearance.

Gravel Guard

Used as trim for 90 lb. rolled roof or where cold patch repairs are made over old hot mop roof.

Nail only as indicated. Do not nail on exposed face.

 

 

W Valley

Install W Valley starting at the eave line and ending at the ridge of the roof. This will give the correct overlap. The overlap should be 6–8 inches depending on the pitch of the roof. The lower the pitch of the roof, the larger the overlap.

Never nail through the valley. Drive the nails outside the valley and bend the nails down to secure the valley as shown to the right.

 

Roof Edgingwith Drip

Used when comp shingle roofing is applied over old roofing.

Nail only as indicated. Do not nail on exposed face.

Reroof Trim

Used when comp shingle roofing is applied over old wood shingles. It encloses and conceals old wood shingles.

Nail only as indicated. Do not nail on exposed face.
